I write for children and young adults and blog about my ever-adventurous journey as a writer. As a lover of beekeeping, I can't help but include tidbits on this topic. I am an active member/volunteer of SCBWI, and am currently seeking representation for my completed YA novel.

*I'm ambidextrous
*I don't eat mammals
*I'm extremely shy in group settings, although I was in theater 3 years in high school and a year in college, and loved it
*I had my picture in the paper when I was a little girl for being the youngest of 5 living generations
* My great, great grandmother (who was in the newspaper pic with me) was the older sister of movie director & writer Frank Capra
